U příležitosti Světového dne vody pořádá Platforma pro odborné vzdělávání ve vodním hospodářství mezinárodní vzdělávací akci Water Days, která je určena odborníkům z praxe, školám i široké veřejnosti se zájmem o problematiku hospodaření s vodními zdroji. Hlavním tématem akce je voda v krajině – její role a význam v lesním, zemědělském a městském prostředí, včetně aktuálních výzev spojených s adaptací krajiny na změnu klimatu. Program se uskuteční v partnerských institucích Platformy, konkrétně na MENDELU, Lipce Jezírko a SPŠ stavební Kudelova Brno.

Cílem akce je zvýšit povědomí o významu vodního hospodářství, podpořit mezioborovou spolupráci a motivovat mladé profesionály ke studiu i uplatnění v této oblasti. Water Days jsou otevřeny středním školám i široké veřejnosti. Jazykem celé akce je angličtina.

Program zahájí 21. března vzdělávací část na Lipce Jezírko a bude zakončen 27. března závěrečnými prezentacemi účastníků.
