The most significant European agroforestry conference will take place for the first time in the Czech Republic. Hosted by MENDELU on the campus grounds in Černá Pole, Brno, in May 2024.

What is EURAF about

The aim of the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF) is to promote the use of trees on agricultural farms and any form of forest management in different ecological regions of Europe. EURAF has over 600 members from 23 different European countries.

EURAF aims to promote the adoption of agroforestry practices throughout Europe through:

• Any means of communication, including lobbying.
• Organizing conferences held twice a year.
• Sending electronic newsletters to all members.
• Managing specialized websites for sharing information, scientific results, and policy issues related to agroforestry.
• Reaching specific agreements with national and international agroforestry societies or other related organizations to exchange information and organize joint congresses, symposiums, and seminars.
• Monthly meetings aimed at raising awareness of agroforestry systems, especially at the political level.
