Science Café with Vojtěch Adam

5. 2. 2019
Science Café is an open debate on current scientific issues and Vojtěch Adam, vice-rector of the Mendel University in Brno, is invited this time thanks to his outstanding success as a ERC grantee.

Adam is an expert in the application of advanced materials in the biology. His research is focused on the protein called metallothionein with ability to bind metals. He and his research team believe that this protein is one of the key factors in preventing the emergence of resistance to cancer treatment with metal-based medicines. Confirmation of this fact could contribute to the more effective treatment of cancer in the future. Science Café with Vojtěch Adam will take place on 28 February 2019 in the Pilsen House, Brussels. To participate, you need to register. Entry is for free. You can find more information here.
