This UNESCO-acknowledged multidisciplinary genetic event will present discussions on discoveries sparked by Mendel’s own work, including human genetics (inherited diseases, cancer genetics, and gene therapy), plant and animal genetics, emerging technologies in genetic research, ethical questions, and history of genetics.
