Mendel University in Brno is proud to support The European Disabled Youth Summer Games Emil Open, which are being held for the fifteenth time this year. The event brings together young people with disabilities on an international sporting and social scale.
This year, we can look forward to 8 sports in which athletes from all over Europe will compete: boccia, table tennis, swimming, track and field, bocce, archery, cycling, and volleyball.

We would like to invite both students and university staff to join the volunteer team. Volunteer activities will take place from Wednesday, July 1, to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

There are many ways to get involved:

• help with organizing and coordinating competitions,
• support and assistance at sports venues,
• serving lunch,
• or other one-time activities during the event itself.
