On Saturday, Australian guests, together with Rector of Mendel University in Brno and Vice-Rector for Internationalization, visited the Mayor’s office in Brno. The topic of the meeting was primarily cooperation between cities and universities. In the end of the meeting, President UTAS, prof. Peter Rathjen, signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Rector of Mendel University in Brno. The Memorandum of Understanding with University of Tasmania is the first full-university contract on the Australian continent.
On Sunday, the Delegation together with Dean of Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies Dr. Schneider visited the Chateau in Křtiny.
