Summer Institute is a month-long academic program (for-credit) held in July, I-speed is a shorter-length, non-credit program in the latter half of July. Summer Institute offers two courses: one English course and one filed-specific course e.g. Globalization of the World Economy or Molecular Biotechniques from Genomics to Proteomics. Students with high English proficiency may take two field-specific courses. Official English language evaluations by Mendel University will be accepted and therefore no TOFEL score is needed.
I-Speed program is held from July 18 to August 1. Workshops and Lectures topis include e.g. Street Art or Intercultural Communication. Prices for programs are $4,900 for Summer Institute (includes in-state tuition/fees for 6 credits, housing, flexible meal plan, insurance, local transportation, and excursions) and $1,950 for I-Speed program (includes program fee, housing, flexible meal plan, and cultural excursions, including a Florida trip.).
