A large share of the negotiating on the Czech side belongs to Ing. Pavel Berg, the Vice President of the Czech-Latin American Chamber of Commerce, and Mgr. Michaela Veselá, Head of International Relations Office. As the representatives of El Salvador, Mgr. Miguel Cruz Rivera (Asamblea legislativa, Centro de gobierno) and Lic. Janete Bulnes (Secretaría de Relaciones Nacionales e Internacionales, UES) actively participated.
The Memorandum was signed on September 3rd 2015. In the next calendar year, the implementation of mutual project of both universities is planned. It is going to be focused on serious diseases of people and animals living in the Central America, which limit the development of El Salvador (principal investigator: prof. MVDr. Ivo Pavlík, CSc.).
