Every year, the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University in Brno organizes a conference for PhD students called the European Scientific Conference of Doctoral Students PEFnet. This conference provides an opportunity for PhD students worldwide to present their research work and establish communication with other colleagues and researchers. PEFnet aims to bring young researchers and PhD students together to share their experiences and original research contributions on topics related to economic studies.

The main purpose of this conference is to enable PhD students to present the results of their research efforts and to receive feedback and recommendations from experienced researchers and other conference participants.

The PEFnet conference focuses on topics such as: Business Finance and Economics, Computer Science and Information Systems, Economics and Economic Policy, ESG: Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance, Finance, Finance – Special Section for Master Students, Management, Marketing and Trade, Quantitative Methods

The conference will take place on 20 November 2025 on the campus of Mendel University in Brno, at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Building Q. Its official language is English; therefore, no translation or interpretation service is available.
