Lednice

10:00–15:00 Visit the unique campus of the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice. We will show you our teaching facilities, student dormitories, and greenhouses. Address: Valtická 337, 691 44 Lednice.

Brno

09:00–14:00 

The entire campus will be open to you, you can explore it from A to Z. Find out why studying at MENDELU is the right choice and which study programmes we offer. When you arrive, you will receive a brochure with the programme, including a voucher for a free panini and tea. Make sure not to miss the main meeting point located on the ground floor of Building Q. You will find information stands of all faculties and university units, a chill-out zone, and a buffet where you can pick up your panini. Don’t worry about getting lost, our students in green will be happy to help you find your way.

HOW TO GET TO THE UNIVERSITY OPEN DOORS DAY

The Brno campus is located in the Černá Pole district.
Main campus: If you are travelling by car, Google Maps will help you. When using public transport, the best option is tram No. 7 or No. 9 to the Zemědělská stop. Alternatively, you can take trolleybus No. 25 or No. 26 to the Za Lužánkami or Lesnická stops.
Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies: If you are travelling by car, use Google Maps. When using public transport, take tram No. 7 or No. 9 as well, but get off two stops further at Bieblova.

We will also tell you about study-abroad opportunities, accommodation in student dormitories, and you will get a glimpse into student life.

Faculty of AgriSciences

10:00, 11:30 Faculty presentation – information on the admissions process, introduction of study programmes and the course of study, information on study-abroad opportunities and accommodation, as well as insights into life at the faculty (Building Q, Lecture Hall Q01)

Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology

Meet our lecturers, who will show you interesting experiments, exhibits, and facilities, and feel free to ask them anything you want to know. You will also meet members of the LDF Student Association. You won’t miss our trumpeters or overlook the falconers and their birds of prey.

Building “B” is undergoing extensive renovation, which restricts free movement on some floors. For this reason, access within the building is only allowed when accompanied. Guided tours are available at 10:00 or 12:00. The meeting point is on the ground floor of the building. Other buildings are freely accessible throughout the Open Day.

12:30 | Departure by bus for a field trip to the Masaryk Forest School Enterprise in Křtiny or to the Josef Ressel Research Centre.
