From Friday, 5 September to Sunday, 7 September 2025, the largest science show in Brno – the Festival of Science and Technology – will take place in Hall A1 of the Brno Exhibition Centre.

The event is suitable for all ages – in fact, for everyone curious about how the world around us works. The festival features a variety of workshops, a Science Theatre full of fun experiments, an escape game, fascinating models of space objects, and the Smokeman Smoke Show.

Representatives from the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Business and Economics will present the topic of the world of IT giants. Using photo keying – a digital technique in which the original background is removed and replaced with another theme – you will be able to experience what it is like to become part of the world of technology.

The Faculty of Horticulture will present the fascinating world of microscopic organisms and structures that, although not visible to the naked eye, play a vital role in natural processes. You’ll discover just how big the smallest life forms can be – and why they deserve the name giants. You’ll find demonstrations, microscopic observations and interesting facts from the world of biology.

Admission is free, and the venue is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can find us in Hall A2.
