2nd Joint Meeting of the Central and Eastern European Branch of the European Association of Fish Pathologists (EAFP) will take place from 1st to 4th September 2026 at Křtiny Chateau (near Brno), Czech Republic. The scientific programme will take place during the first two days. 4th September is reserved for an optional sightseeing tour (Pernštejn Castle, Veveří Castle).
The scientific programme of the meeting will focus on inland aquaculture and wild waters:
- Pathogens, diagnostics, therapy and prophylaxis of pathogen-related and non-pathogen-related diseases in fish and other aquatic animals
- Fish disease control and welfare in aquaculture
- Workshop on PKD
The conference language will be English.
The conference will also support young scientists with awards for the best posters and presentations. Conference abstracts will be published in the proceedings.
