We warmly invite you to the ceremonial planting of a new golden rain tree, which will take place on Monday, April 22, at 12:30 PM in front of the main entrance of Building A. This event is held in honor of Earth Day, with the participation of Mendel University Rector Jan Mareš and other distinguished guests.

The original golden rain tree, which had long been a prominent feature at the main entrance, had to be removed due to its deteriorating health to prevent potential safety risks. In its place, a new, mature tree of the same species will be planted, provided by the Masaryk Forest Křtiny School Forest Enterprise. The golden rain tree is an ideal choice for urban environments – it is resilient, decorative, and harmonizes well with the surrounding architecture.
