Brněnský sedmnáctý celebration will once again take place on Monday, 17 November, this year under the theme of Certainty. The program will begin at 13:00 on Svoboda Square, and at the same time you can visit us in the zone of non-profit organizations and universities. The laying of wreaths by university representatives will take place at 13:00.

Mendel University in Brno will once again take part in the Brněnský sedmnáctý event this year. Visitors can look forward to a quiz about events connected with November 17, a creative corner with a machine for making their own badges, and word puzzles that will test their knowledge of historical dates. The stand will also include a space for personal messages inspired by the theme of certainty.

Brněnský sedmnáctý is a festival that celebrates freedom and democracy, commemorates the events of November 1939 and 1989 in Brno, and encourages civil society to take an active interest in current events both in the Czech Republic and around the world.
