The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Mendel University in Brno.

The ceremony will include:

• Opening of the ceremonial session and arrival of the academic procession,
• Opening speech and welcoming guests,
• Speech by the outgoing rector of Mendel University in Brno, Prof. Dr. Ing. Jan Mareš,
• Inauguration ceremony of the new rector, Doc. Ing. Martin Klimánek, Ph.D., including the taking of the oath and the handing over of the rector’s insignia,
• Inaugural speech by the newly appointed rector,
• Musical performance.
